Since the first WHO reports of the COVID-19 pandemic, the capital’s municipality has begun to work on protecting the city, its citizens.
From April 6, Bishkek City Hall, together with the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the City Health Department, the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan, the Swiss Medical Education Reform Project and Kyrgyztelecom launched the “Self-Diagnostic Line – 118” for providing primary medical consultation.
During this time, 121,374 calls were received, 134,458 of which were filled out with COVID-19 suspicion.
In order to optimize the operation of the hotline and respond quickly to citizens, we returned the call center to the city health department.
Now the citizens will be consulted by 12 specialists (6 lines) in two shifts from 8 a.m. to midnight. It should be noted that the operators are trained highly qualified medical specialists of the CFM.
If you feel that you have fallen ill, you can also consult with the doctors of the city’s CFM and prevent the illness at an early stage. Our on-call medics are always ready to give you the necessary help. Please! Find your family doctor. Contact the current Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services helpline.
Dear citizens! Call! Please! Do not self-medicate!
Bishkek is our favorite healthy city!
