By joining forces, the city continues to fight COVID-19. Vice Prime Minister Elvira Surabaldieva, Vice Mayor for Social Affairs Aizhan Chynybaeva and volunteers discussed coordination of centralized joint work.
The meetings took place yesterday, today. It was attended by doctors, volunteers, entrepreneurs, influencers and representatives of the National Red Crescent Society in the Kyrgyz Republic who helped the residents at the peak of the spread of COVID-19 and are ready to support the capital again.
The volunteers offered to inspect day hospitals and check the material and technical provision of hospitals in order to timely purchase everything needed and keep medical units ready in case of a worsening epidemiological situation in the capital. As a reminder, the capital city hall has prepared 26 hospitals for 1,450 beds.
To effectively coordinate the work and evenly distribute forces in the four districts of the city, the Vice Mayor proposed creating a single volunteer base by type of assistance: medical volunteers, volunteer drivers, volunteers to provide humanitarian support.
Vice Prime Minister E. Surabaldieva instructed to strengthen the work on digitalization of the work of city services, because this is the only solution for the transparent work of the capital.
Such meetings with the civil sector will take place on a regular basis.
