Vice Mayor of the capital for land and transport policy Aziz Alymkulov met with the heads of private transport companies.
We discussed the work of urban public transport in a pandemic, the basic principles of the distribution of routes in the city.
The Vice Mayor noted that the epidemiological situation in the capital remains tense, but sanitary rules in city public transport, especially in minibuses, are not being followed.
By the way, there is no question of stopping public transport now.
Alymkulov instructed carriers to toughen measures to protect against COVID-19. First of all, drivers must follow the rules, the wearing and the availability of masks is mandatory! It is also necessary to strengthen the information campaign in each minibus.
The transportation leaders proposed to conduct a mass vaccination against influenza among drivers, the question is under the control of the CSSES.
The Vice Mayor drew attention to the state of minibuses, because old cars negatively affect the ecology of the city, carriers were invited to consider renewing the vehicle fleet.
One of the owners of minibuses asked his colleagues to put in order the work of each company, because there were facts about fictitious collection of drivers’ signatures for various purposes, violating their charter. Some executives sign on blank forms and papers, which are then used to file complaints which contradicts the reality.
The Vice Mayor noted that all actions must be within the legal framework.
It was decided: every week, the transport unit will meet with carriers to quickly solve problems.
