With the first concert comprising over 10,000 attendees at Taipei Arena slated for August 8, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) reminds the audience to adhere to the 3 major rules of pandemic prevention: 1) wear a face mask at all time during the concert, 2) have your body temperature taken, and 3) real name registration.
For concert admission, in addition to your concert ticket, visitors should either bring their ID/ARC or prepare a valid myCode ahead of time to ensure staff are able to quickly scan and input their information at the gates.
According to TRTC, in compliance with central government regulations, all visitors attending the concert must produce either a myCode or a national ID card/ARC to process real name registration. To acquire a myCode, simple scan the QR code provided in this article’s photo or visit the Taipei myCode website (https://mycode.gov.taipei) and fill out the application. Submit the application and you will receive your myCode in the verification SMS. Store the QR Code on your phone’s photobook for future use.
The real name registration system was developed inhouse by the Department of Information Technology, and has been adopted by all the public venues affiliated with Taipei City, including Taipei Arena and skating rink, Taipei Children’s Amusement Park (indoor facilities), Beitou Resort, and Metro Link International Hall.
All staff working at the Taipei Arena are required to have their temperature taken and wear face mask during work. Disinfection procedures has also been implemented for areas seeing frequent contact with visitors. Cleaning is also carried out for the audience seating area following each performance.
