BANGKOK CITY LIBRARY REOPENING NOW

On 19th May 2020, Mr. Kriangyos Sudlabha, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, inspected the orderliness of Bangkok City Library on its first public reopening day after the temporary closed period due to the spread of the COVID-19.

The service date and time during the spread of the COVID-19 has been set between Tuesday and Saturday from 09.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. and closed between Sunday and Monday and on public holidays. The library users can register online at www.bangkokcitylibrary.com.

Initially, the library will allow 70 users per time, two times a day: from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and from 13.00 p.m. to 16.00 p.m. As the library is large with enough tables and chairs, more users might be allowed for service in consideration of social distancing measures.

Library users can borrow books from Bangkok City Library and other BMA’s 36 libraries via online system or contact by phone.
