As part of the Birgemiz Campaign, 4 thousand families received assistance from city volunteers
To support the instruction of Elbasy and the Chairman of Nur Otan party, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the city headquarters together with the party volunteers provided a targeted assistance within the framework of the Birgemiz campaign to more than four thousand families: single pensioners, people with disabilities, and representatives of vulnerable social groups. They are delivered basic-needs products and hygiene products. The official website of Nur-Sultan Akimat reports that vulnerable families from remote areas of the city receive particular attention. Specially trained volunteers equipped with medical protective outfit have distributed 180 food baskets today. 30 baskets of these were sponsored by Air Astana. Dozens of product baskets from Anvar supermarket were sent to socially vulnerable population. The Gentlemen’s Club of Kazakhstan also joined the City Headquarters of volunteers as part of the #BizBirgemiz campaign. The Club raised and allocated funds to provide assistance to single elderly people and families in need in Lesnaya Polyana residential community, Internatsional and Ilyinka villages, Lesozavod and Koktal districts during the period of announced emergency.
The Club together with the city volunteers distributed food baskets to about 150 families. It is gratifying to see that despite the current situation young people are ready to help those in need for the good of the country without any compensation. In its turn, the Gentlemen’s Club of Kazakhstan urges residents of the city to comply with all the rules of the announced emergency and preventive measures against coronavirus infection.
