The State Commission announced the period from March 30 to April 5 in Nur-Sultan cityas a non-working week, with the exception of medical professionals, law enforcement agencies, public utilities and employees providing the vital functions of the city. During the specified period of time, the operation of public transport has been suspended in the city. The total check of all air passengers has been carrying out. To ensure safety and create conditions, the hotels have been allocated for accommodation ofhealth workers who work in hospitals directly with contact and infected patients. The city response center organized their catering; the City Transportation Systems (CTS) provided over 50 vehicles. There is an organized transportationfor medical personnel who work in clinics and hospitals of the city. All of these services are free of charge for medical professionals.
The assignment of payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (SSIF) to citizens placed on unpaid leave has started in the capital city.
In support of the instruction of Elbasy andthe Chairman of the NurOtan Party, NursultanNazarbayev, within the framework of the Birgemiz Campaignthe party volunteers and the emergency response center have provided targeted assistance to more than 3.6 thousand families: single pensioners, people with disabilities, and representatives of vulnerable socialgroups. Basic-needs goods and hygiene productshave been delivered to them. Such assistance is planned to be providedto over 5 thousand familiesduring the quarantine period. City volunteers distributed 3,500 masks-respirators for employees of seven city checkpoints. At the same time, members of the city headquarters of volunteers together with police officers are conducting explanatory work among the population and small and medium-sized businesses on the quarantine regime. In addition, since March 25, volunteers together with medical workers have been delivering medicines to elderly people who are subject to regular medical check-up. During the quarantine, Kazpost employees together with volunteers will deliver the pension to the homes of citizens receiving it in cash.
The Akimat of Nur-Sultan cityhas introduced comprehensive measures to counteract the coronavirus. All these measures are taken to support and protect the cityresidents.
